The Hardcore Hardware Australia® MFK-02 GEN II mid-sized utility knife offers optimum balance between weight, strength and cutting power. The MFK-02 GEN II features a 6mm (0.236”), full tang, D2 tool steel blade. Capable of performing even the most demanding cutting jobs, the MFK-02 GEN II is versatile enough to use for a multitude of applications, making it an essential tool for the modern day tactical operator. 

The modified tanto design is extraordinarily strong. Ideally suited for aggressive penetration and prying, this configuration offers unrivalled tip strength. The spine has an added bevelled, jimping section for secure thumb pressure on delicate cutting tasks. The MFK-02 GEN II also features a partial blade serration for cutting webbing/belts etc., and an extended glass break, strike/hammer pommel, with multiple lanyard points. Nonslip, ergonomic, G10 handle scales offer a positive and comfortable grip. These are secured with Torx screw all steel fittings. 

Personalised mounting is critical for an instinctive and swift deployment. Therefore the MFK-02 GEN II Kydex®ambidextrous sheath comes with a Tek-Lok™ mounting system. This can be customised in vertical, horizontal or angled positions. The provision of eyelet holes along both sides of the blade carrier facilitate alternative attachment to the body or gear via paracord or cable ties. A friction lock system fastens the MFK-02 GEN II securely in its sheath.
