This compact camera is designed for recording movies while in motion, and will also take 5MP still images. The lens provides a wide 170° angle of view, and there is an auto rotation feature that corrects the image if the camera is mounted upside down or on its side. Built for durability, the camera is waterproof with a depth rating of 30' and is protected by an aluminum housing. It has built-in flash to help you take photos at night.

The camera features built-in Wi-Fi capability, allowing for remote operation and enabling wireless image transfer to a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet. A universal mounting kit is supplied with options for bike, motorcycle, helmet, and board mounting. A 1/4"-20 socket also means you can use many third-party accessories also. Video and photos are recorded to microSDHC memory cards up to 32GB in capacity.

A built-in G-sensor informs the camera if the horizon is not level. Depending on the resolution setting, the camera can correct up to 270°, giving you the ability to mount the camera at a canted angle if necessary. At 1920 x 1080, 1280 x 960, and 1280 x 720 it can rotate the image 180° (i.e., if the camera is upside down) and when scaled down to 608 x 1080, 720 x 960, or 416 x 720 it can rotate the image 90 or 270° (i.e., if the camera is on its side)

Note: The Camera position must be established before you start recording. This feature is only available in video mode
